What Happens next?
As soon as you send this credit card authorization form and we are able to process your credit card for the total amount agreed we will send your Confirmation Documents and PREPAID VOUCHERS for the activities or/and lodging reserved.
IMPORTANT: (please read) While Spam filters enable us to keep out the "riff raff," unfortunately they can sometimes keep you from receiving mail from email addresses that are legitimately trying to reach you. Many of the Spam filters used by your internet service providers restrict not just the emails you don't want, but also the ones you're looking for. Most notorious for this "rogue" spam filtering is AOL, JUNO, HOTMAIL and YAHOO. If you use one of these services and you do not receive mail from us, please check your spam or trash folder.
You should expect an email response from us within 6 hours, although our average response time is less than 2 hours.
Payment & Cancellation Policies - Limitation of Liability Policy
Your credit card will be preauthorize for the total as a guarantee, your reservation will be prepaid 100% and you do not need to pay extras at the time of your arrival. Cancellations to be received in writing by email; 10 days prior arrival. Cancellations received 9 days prior arrival/service dates will pay 100% of the total cost of the stay or service as a penalty. In the event of a No-Show you will lose 100% of your payment. Please note rates changes based on vehicle/boat/tour availability, however Online Reservation have a flat rate. Any applicable refund will be provided less 50% of of the total due administrative and bank credit card transaction fees with no exceptions. For ocean transportation/activities you must take care of your electronics and luggage at all times. Waiting times: Collective Shuttles up to 10 minutes, At pick up place the driver will wait a maximum of 10 minutes for a customer as this is a shared service. If passenger doesn’t show after 10 minutes passed the pick up time it will considered NO SHOW and 100% of the rate will be charged. Private Services up to 2hrs.
I hereby authorize Costa Rica For You Online Reservations and The Costa Rica Shuttle S.A. (Registered Companies in charge of this transaction) to charge to my credit card the amount total amount. I agree with the above cancellation, payment, refund and rates policies, specified in this form.
We HIGHLY RECOMMEND TRAVEL/TRIP CANCELLATION INSURANCE. A list of providers can be found at: www.insuremytrip.com. This will cover you in case of late arrivals, flight cancelations, hotel reservations, no shows, etc.
Baggage.
Baggage is carried under passenger's risk. Liability for loss, delay, or damage to baggage is limited to a maximum of USD $ 100.00, regardless of the value for it's owner, unless a higher value is declared in advance and additional charges are paid. We assume no liability for fragile, valuable or perishable articles. We will not be held liable for loss or damage to carry-on items not properly supervised by the passenger.
This includes carry-on items incorrectly placed inside the luggage compartment.
All transfers include a 15 minutes rest stop.
This stop may be a connection point or may involve a change of vehicle depending on the route.
We can not be held responsible for schedule changes in ferry services, nor for accidents and/or loss of luggage during the trip on the ferry.
We may change or cancel any service without reimbursement for reasons beyond its control, such as: strikes, weather conditions, war or local guerrillas, public demonstrations, natural disasters or acts of terrorism.
Adventure Activities.
When practicing adventure activities, and/or visiting wilderness areas or other places were the tour enters or takes place, the tour participant attests and verifies to be physically fit and in good health to undertake these activities. The tour participant expressly accepts and assumes the risks and dangers inherent to these areas and activities.
Accidents.
Liability for death or personal injuries to passengers is limited to contract conditions with suppliers and insurance coverage subscribed by the company, according to the laws of Costa Rica, in effect at the moment of the accident.
Terms Conditions | Severability
If any term of this Agreement is declared unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable by any court in any jurisdiction, then such term will be deemed severable from the remaining terms in such jurisdiction and will not affect the validity and enforceability of such remaining terms.
The Costa Rica Shuttle S.A. and Costa Rica For You Online Reservations may revise these Terms & Conditions at any time, and all users will be bound by such revisions.
Revisions will be posted on this "Terms & Conditions" page and users are responsible to review the page from time to time to ensure compliance.
